By 1937 Adler had designed its ultimate flagship model, the 2.5 Litre saloon. The Adler 2.5 Litre featured very elegant streamlined coachwork produced for Adler by Ambi-Budd. Unfortunately production of these futuristic cars was cut short in 1940 by WW2, although the 2.5 Litre engine was used in some specialised military applications.
