These car were put together with a variety of engines from Bentley, Aston Martin, Lea Francis, Lincoln 12 and Jaguar.
One of the two Jaguar powered cars with a replacement fiberglass body is currently historic vintage racing in the UK.
The body is original aluminum created by Shattock. Shattock produced these cars at Brookside garage at Winkfield, Berks.
The 1953 Jaguar motor has oversized valves and was originally put together with triple H8 sand cast carbs. Has a C type gear box and may have a C type engine and a very unusual large radiator. The lubrication points on the different aspects of the suspension are a form of art work in themselves. The car has a massive alloy 16 quart oil pan.
The original aluminum body is so beautifully done but if you are an enthusiast of the mechanical aspects of a car's set up and suspension this would be of great interest to you. This car is a milestone in 1950s race car development.
