The 260Z was a 240Z with a 2.6 litre engine. From March 1974, the car was also available as a 2 + 2 with a 12 in (30 cm) longer wheelbase.
The 195-70 VR 14 tyres of the 260Z were much wider than the 175 SR 14 types used for the 240Z.
