There was a new range in 1974 known as 240 and 260 to replace the 140 series. The 240 had a 1,985 cc four-cylinder engine with an overhead camshaft and output of 82 bhp. It was also available with a 2,127 cc engine of 97 bhp. The 240 series can be recognised by its heavy and unfortunately rather ugly bumpers.
