Chrysler had six basic models on offer: Windsor, Royal, Saratoga, New Yorker, Crown Imperial and Town & Country. Little was changed in the engine department. The six-cylinder motor was still 4,106 cc producing 116 bhp at 3,600 rpm and the straight-eight 5,300 cc engine produced 135 bhp at 3,400 rpm. In contrast the chassis was entirely new with a 4 in (100 mm) longer wheelbase. The wheelbase of the six-cylinder engined cars were 125 in ( 3,180mm) and the eight-cylinder cars were 131 in (3,340mm) for the New Yorker and 145 in (3,690 mm) between the wheel centres.
The New Yorker had the same straight-engine as the Imperial. The 137 bhp at 3,400 were sufficient for a top speed of 94 mph (150 kph).
