In the midst of its financial problems during the early 1980's Lamborghini reworked the 70's Silhouette model into a new version, the Jalpa P350. The Jalpa came with a 3485cc, dual over-head cam V8 which developed a mighty 255bhp.
Externally the Jalpa had a rather unhappy looking modified Silhouette bodyshell, complete with "tacked-on" spoilers and modern alloy wheels. Production started in 1981 and lasted until 1991, with 179 examples being completed.
