Overview

Following the end of wartime hostilities Triumph, now part of the Standard-Triumph group, unveiled a new range of cars including the 1800 Saloon. Today these cars are often referred to as the "Razor-edge" cars as the bodystyle consisted of sharp edges on the traditional curved, pre-war design body.

The 1800 Saloon used a 65bhp overhead valve Standard engine and had reasonable performance for the period. The body consisted of alloy panels mounted over a traditional ash frame, the interior was well finished and equipped.
