Pre-dating the more successful MGBGT, the TR4 based Dove coupe first appeared in
Due to the extra bodywork the GTR4 gained 500Ibs in weight and a larger capacity fuel tank. The rear seats were quite small (as in the BGT) and were suitable for small children only. Only a small number of these pretty coupes have survived and they are now highly prized by Triumph fans.
