Following on from the success of the Vitesse 1600 a new 2 litre superseded it in
As before with the Vitesse 1600 two door saloon and convertible versions were available, although the saloon proved to be more popular. The Vitesse 2-litre continued to sell well until the arrival of the better handling Mk II in
