Triumph GT6 Mk III

I bought it in 1998 for $300.00 (USD).  since owning it I put in a new transmission and drove it for about 6 months.  It looks pretty rough but ran well until the carbs went on the fritz.  Have to purchase 2 new carbs ( the orginal ones are beyond rebuilding).  Eventually I want to have the car restored back to showroom condition.  It has been in the hands of a teenager at one time and was heavily "modified".  I am using the term "modified" very loosely.  It was originally factory purple (burgundy), been repainted many times.  Yellow, orange, black, and silver just to name a few of the colors it has worn over the years.  If anyone has any cross references on what parts from the spitfire will interchange I'd appreciate the information.  I have to replace floor pans now. 

When I was driving the car I got a tremendous amount of looks and questions, and it's a blast to drive.  I miss having the car on the road and can't wait to get her back running again.
