Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III

An ex USA car (New York). Bought February 2000 in derelict but very complete condition. All numbers matched Heritage Certificate. Totally dismantled and chassis rebuilt by Murray,Scott-Nelson, Scarborough. Sprayed Golden Beige ....originally Ivory White.....and reassembled by owner RHD. Body fit and most spares from UK Healey, Wakefield. Upholstery and hood fitted by Willtrim, Bradford...all in black. Much of original car survives but necessary to fit 4 new wings, 2 lower door sections and bonnet. New grille and surround plus various chromed parts. Engine rebuilt in standard tune by specialist.... with spin off filter and oil cooler for modern conditions. Drivetrain is original but all brakes and suspension replaced..although brake servo unit is original. My seventh big Healey and always had the ambition to carry out a 'total'

Upholstered in black leather, black hood by Willtrim, Bradford. Much of the original car survives but necessary to replace 4 wings, 2 door lower sections and bonnet plus grille, grille surround and various chromed parts. Drivetrain is all original but brakes and suspension totally replaced  although still has original brake servo unit. Engine totally rebuilt in normal tune but spin off oil filter and oil cooler added for modern road conditions. My seventh big Healey...always an ambition to carry out a total restoration.
