These cars were extremely fast and impossible to beat in the 1 litre class in 1966. A Costin-Nathan not only won its class in the 500 kilometre race at the Nurburgring but also broke the lap record. Roger Nathan drove one of the cars in the 1967 Le Mans race but was forced to retire after four hours with electrical problems.
