The larger and faster 10hp Model 'C' never sold in such great numbers as the Model 'Y' although there was a very attractive factory produced tourer. In 1935 the styling was enhanced with some small modifications and the model was designated the 'CX'. Note: about 60000 Model 'C'-based 'Eifel's were manufactured at the Ford Köln plant in Germany between 1935 and 1939. Source: FORD 'Y'& 'C' MODEL REGISTER
About 19000 'C's and 33000 'CX's were produced at Dagenham, of which approximately 3500 were bodied in Australia. About 250 have survived.
