As with its Ace sister model, the AC Aceca could be specified with the powerful Ford 2.6 engine from 1961. The tuned six cylinder engine came from Fords successful and respected Zephyr. Despite being listed until 1963 only eight cars were actually built and sold before the model was finally dropped from the AC range,
