The 356A has much improved, more mature look than the original, almost delicate looking 356. Main recognition points are the small air vents near the side lamps and a curved windscreen. The front suspension was revamped with the addition of a steering damper. As well as these changes an improved engine of 1582cc was now fitted, producing
