The famous DS was introduced as a convertible (the DS Cabriolet) in 1961 with a body by Henri Chapron of Paris who was responsible for many special Citroen bodies.
Although the Citroen DS was never offered as a sports car, it won many rallies. The four-cylinder was offered as a 1,911, 1,985 or 2,175 cc versions.
