Alfa Romeo 166
Following on from the success of the 156 the bigger Alfa Romeo 166 joined the range in 1999. Like the 156 the 166 features elegant styling (although maybe not as impressive as the other model), clever design and excellent driving dynamics.
Available only as a four door saloon, but with a choice of engines and gearboxes the 166 is set to take on its main rival, the BMW 5-Series. Despite the healthy following that the 156 enjoys Alfa still have a tough battle ahead to compete with the market favourite, the BMW.
