Citroen Dyane 4/6

Overview
Produced: 1967-1984, 1443583 produced.
Types: Convertible,4 doors,4 seats
The Citroen Dyane was launched in August 1967 to fill the gap between the 2CV and the Ami 6.  This car had the air-cooled 425 cc twin-cylinder engine of the 2CV that produced 18.5 bhp at 4,750 rpm.  This was increased in 1975 to 32 bhp at 5,750 rpm.  The Dyane should have replaced the 2CV with its headlights incorporated into the wings and "more attractive" body but it failed to topple the 2CV, even though it sold quite well.  The Dyane ceased production six years earlier than its "predecessor".
