Daimler finally entered full production of its Regency models in 1954. The line-up of Regency models included a four light Sportsman model and a special four door Empress saloon built by Hooper.

Standard mechanical specification included a choice of either 3468cc or 4617cc overhead valve six cylinder engines, fully hydraulic braking, and overdrive transmission. Production of these impressive looking cars continued in small numbers until 1957, some 400 examples of the Regency II were built.
