Saloon,2 doors,2 seats(Short Folding Top)
The FIAT 500D received several mechanical and body changes in 1965 and was redesignated the FIAT 500F. Externally, the most obvious modifications were that the 'suicide' front opening doors had been replaced by normal rear opening doors. These now had push button handles with exterior locks built into them. The windscreen was made slightly deeper and the windscreen wipers were correctly positioned for right-hand drive cars. Internally, the little car had an uprated heating system fitted. The fuel quantity was still indicated by a light in a speedometer segment rather than a fuel gauge. Mechanically, the drive shafts, clutch and differential had been substancially strengthened. The 499.5cc engine from the 500D was uprated by 0.5 bhp to 18 bhp.
