Lamborghini Miura

Overview

Produced: 1966-1969, 475 produced.
Types: Coupe, 2 doors

Back in 1966 the Lamborghini Miura was one of the worlds most striking cars and instantly rose to the top of the supercar league as the car to beat. The Miura was styled by Bertone and had incredible lines which incorporated very distinctive headlamps that rested in a flat position until called into action.

The Miura was powered by 3929cc Lamborghini V12 which featured four cam-shafts and 370bhp. The Miura could top over 170mph and was for many years one of fastest cars on the road. A memorable opening sequence in the film "The Italian Job" helped bring the car to the attention of the masses and ensures the car remains one of the best loved exotics to have appeared during the late 1960's.
