Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti/Super

Production of the Giulia sedan started in 1962 with the Giulia Ti and continued through to 1976 in a variety of guises, Giulia Super, 1300Ti, 1300 Super, Nuova Super. There were a number of different variations of the base model along the way. The Nuova Super was released in the early 70's and production continued until 1976. Diesel models were also available in the early 70's. There was a competiton version, Ti Super, of which 501 were produced in 1963/4 to comply with FIA homologation requirements. 400 of the 501 were used by various police forces in the region and the remaining 101 were used in competition, achieving considerable success in major races and rallies around the world. The Ti Super was also used as a development workhorse for the lightweight GTA coupe.
