Renault 4L Our Renault 4L was located in a shed in Provence and then hauled up to Paris where it was restored mechanically. In May of 2007 it was shipped via container to Boston, Massachusetts. The car was restored in France by Jacques Reaubourg. He would not accept money for his labor so instead we flew Jacques and his wife, Christiane, to Boston as they had never been to the USA. We met them in Boston and together drove the 4L up to Round Pond, Maine, where we live and where the 4l (nick-named les Petite Fantome Gris, the little grey ghost) now also lives. |
