Types:

An elegant range of fast touring cars the 340 America started off the line in 1951. All three models used the V12 engine in 4102cc and 4522cc formats. Power and performance was excellent, power upwards of 200bhp.

Produced in a range of different body styles including open and closed coupes. The last 375 Americas were produced in 1955, in total only 40 or so cars were made from 1951-1955.

Power Blessing - Ferrari 340 America.  When Ferrari felt that its cars were losing out due to lack of power, a new range of 'long-block' V12 cars was introduced.  This 340 America was one of the first, and was factory compaigned in the Mille Miglia and at Le Mans.
