Following on from the highly successful (in terms of competition and performance) 275GTB/4 the Nart Spyder was essentially an open "Spyder" version. Produced exclusively for the US East cost dealer, Luigi Chinetti, the name Nart actually stood for: "North American Racing Team", cashing in on its racing pedigree.
Due to the fact that these cars were only available thru one US dealer just a handful of examples were produced.
