An open roofed version of the Dino 246GT, this particular model introduced Ferrari owners to the relatively new "Targa" design pioneered by Porsche and of coarse the Triumph TRs of the early 60s. Ferrari always refers to its open cars as "Spyders" although in this case only the center section of the roof is in fact removable.
Powered by the same iron-block V6 found in the 246GT, the GTS offered 150mph, open roofed touring to the 1274 owners during its
2 year production reign.
