The Tickford was introduced in January 1950. This final coupe sold 224 units. The open version of this was known as the Abbott and 77 of these were built. The cars derived their names from the body company that built them. Both were powered by a Riley 2.4 -litre engine. These were the final road cars from the Donald Healey Motor Company. Subsequent cars such as the Healey Silverstone, Nash-Healey and of course Austin-Healey were outright sports cars or motor sports cars.
