Although not the prettiest Imp derivative nobody could deny the impressive load capability of the 1967 Hillman Husky. Reprising the name used on earlier Hillman estate cars the new Husky featured a two door body with a large opening rear hatch and sliding side windows. Its high roofline gave plenty of interior space and led the way towards a van derivative (sold as a "Commer").
Underneath the rear luggage floor sat the 875cc Imp engine which developed around 39bhp. The Husky sold in steady numbers until being discontinued in 1970.
