The Morgan 4/4 Series V made its debut in 1963, replacing the previous Series IV which had used the Ford Classic 315 engine. The new 4/4 model came with a choice of either 65bhp Cortina engine or a 84bhp Cortina GT unit. Both engines measured 1498cc and used synchromesh four speed gearboxes.
The 4/4 Series V remained otherwise unchanged and stayed in production until 1968.
