For enthusiasts looking for even greater performance, Morgan offered a special tuned version of its Plus Four model, the Plus Four Super Sports. The new derivative used a specially tuned Triumph TR engine which would develop up to 125bhp. S.U. or Weber carbs could be specified and the individual specification could be tailored to the customers own requirements.
The Super Sports came complete with a lightweight body made from aluminium which otherwise looked the same as a standard Morgan.
