Morgan Plus 8

Overview

Produced: 1968-2004, 3506 produced.
Types: Sports, 2 doors

Perhaps the most unusual and certainly one of the longest running Morgan models first appeared in 1968, the Plus 8. The Plus 8 looked similar to the regular four cylinder Morgan's, however this version featured the Buick derived Rover V8 engine, normally found in Rover Saloon cars - all in all a classic "Q-car" recipe.

The Plus 8 has used various versions of the Rover V8, starting with the original 3528cc unit and is now available with the current Range Rover EFI engines. All Morgan Plus 8's share incredible levels of performance combined with "exciting" handling characteristics and the same old Morgan body/chassis construction methods.
