In 1961, the Fiat 1500 made its return with a four cylinder 1,481 cc engine of 72 bhp. The body was similar to that of the 1100. When equipped with the 1,295 cc engine the car was known as a Fiat 1300. The 1300/1500 range had to fill the gap between the 1100 and 1800 left by the 1200 Granluce when it was taken out of production.
