saab 96 v4 driven saabs since 1969 .owned 9 v4's in this time .present v4 is 1974 which has been completely rebuilt .currently building a1498 cc engine using saab 7.2 road cam and 28 / 36 weber with the saab twin choke inlet manifold .the heads have been ported and flowed for a jetex exhaust system .the car has 95v4 rear coil springs and uprated shock absorbers all round to reduce body roll .I hope to fit the new engine within the next two months.a kenlowe fan and high capacity radiator core copes with all road conditions .the uprated oil pump presently gives up to 90 psi hot oil pressure . the car is always enjoyable to drive and attracts a great deal interest . |
