The Reliant Scimitar was a 2+2 designed by David Ogle, originally under commission from Daimler. The Scimitar's body was built of glass-reinforced polyester. Three different engines were fitted to the Scimitar GT. Initially there was a choice from two six-cylinder units of 2,553 and 2,995 cc. Subsequently a V-6 of 2,495 cc was available. The power outputs in order were 120, 140 and 121 bhp.
