Martin Lilley was 23 years old when his father bought TVR for him. Under his control, a new car went into history as the "M" for Martin series.
Martin used 1,599, 2,498 and 2,994 cc V-4 and V-6 engines.
There was also a 3 litre available with turbo that produced 230 bhp at 5,000 rpm.
