The fashion followed America in the 1950s so it was two-tone paintwork, panoramic windscreen, and lots of chrome.
The Rekord P1 was available with a choice of two different engines: a 1.5 litre unit giving 45 bhp and a 1.7 litre motor for 55 bhp.
