Imported to UK mainly through Sheerness docks in Kent to compete with Volvo.
McPherson strut front suspension, leaf springs rear. 25 mpg. Discs brakes front, drums rear.Rear wheel drive.
Twin ohc ,timing chain rather than belt.Twin Choke Niki carb. Auto or manual gear box. Radio only, no cassette or cd player. There was no 929 saloon only a 626 & 323.
2 ltr. in line 4 cylinder engine. Rather under powered for the size and weight of the car but a most comfortable ride.
