Bentley Corniche

Overview

Produced: 1971-1984, 149 produced. (69 Saloon, 80 convertible)
Types: Convertible, 2 doors
Saloon, 2 doors, 4 seats

Produced in parallel with the Rolls-Royce variant the Corniche remained in limited production from 1971 until 1984. Only 149 cars were produced at the Willesden, London, factory by Rolls-Royces Mulliner-Park Ward coachbuilding concern.

Built in both 2 door Fixed Head Coupe and Drop Head Coupe form the Corniche did benefit from slightly more power from its 6750cc V8 than the standard T-Type saloon. Eventually the Bentley Corniche was superseded by the identical Continental Convertible which arrived just in time for the Bentley renaissance of the late 1980s.
