The Aronde was continuously improved mechanically and in appearance. In 1951, the four-cylinder overhead valve engine had a capacity of 1,221 cc and power output of 45 bhp at 4,500 rpm. By the following year power had increased to 51 bhp and in 1955 the cylinder capacity was increased to 1,290 cc to produce 55 or 57 bhp from this relatively small engine.
