In 1967 the 1300/1500 series was replaced by the 1301 and 1051 which had 1290 and 1475cc engines and larger luggage boots but were otherwise similar to their predecessors. The 1501 acquired servo brakes in 1969, and the series was made up to 1976, by which time a total of 1,342,907 had been made.
