By 1962 the Rover P4 series was beginning to look dated and need for replacement, however these traditional cars were still selling in steady numbers and so two final versions were announced, the 95 and 110. The 110 used a 123bhp version of the Rover P4 100 six cylinder engine which was still using the old overhead inlet, side exhaust valve layout first seen in 1949.
The 110 had now gained steel door panels (in place of the alloy skins used on earlier models) and more modern wheel trims. Other "modern" additions included electric windscreen washers, an overdrive gearbox was now standard equipment. Production of the P4 range continued until 1964 when it was finally layed to rest after a run of 15 years.
