The Rovin D2 had a monocoque body and all-round independent suspension.  The small single-cylinder four-stroke engine was rear mounted and at first had a capacity of 240 then later 275 cc.  Export versions of the car had twin-cylinder water-cooled engines of 425, then 462 cc.  The gearbox had three ratios and was operated by a column-change gear shift.  The Rovin was truly a midget car with its length of 2,850 mm (112 in).  There were no doors or a boot.
