Lot 664: Lagonda 16/80 ST24

Important Collectors' Motor cars, Pioneer and Vintage Motorcycles, Bonhams (6 December 2004)

The car was restored in the period 1984-1986 before acquisition by the present owner in whose hands it has been a concours d'élégance class winner. It is superbly presented in the most elegant black over grey livery with complementing pale grey leather upholstery, headlining and Wilton carpets. The dynamo and starter and magneto have all been rebuilt and new wiring has been installed. We are informed that this most elegant pre-war saloon, with manual four-speed gearbox, drives nicely and is maintained in full running order with current licence and MoT certificate
