Lot 316: 1970 BSA 440cc B44SS
BSA’s C15 was soon extended in engine size into the 350cc B40 and the B44, the latter a much more robust, powerful and relaxed ride than either of its predecessors. The B44 motor was also used with great success in scramblers and road-racers. This quite rare example is in complete and original, though in un-restored condition. Simple to rebuild, with an excellent spares supply, this small light and fast BSA will make an excellent sports machine. A V5 is present for its Breconshire registration number.
