Lot 350: 1971 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior
Alfa Romeo, Italy's oldest sporting marque, has been building cars since 1910. They produced some of the greatest machinery ever to be seen pre-war, such as the beautiful 1750 Zagato roadsters, the magnificent Monzas and the mighty P3 racing cars. With the advent of the 1950s Alfa Romeo was forced to rationalise its production in order to survive financially. Nonetheless the firm still maintained a strong sporting tendency, and a model was always available to satisfy the whims of Alfa's affluent young customers; such a car was the Giulia 1300 Junior. This well preserved example is finished in an attractive combination of "pino verde" pine green with a tobacco interior. Questo belissima essemplare e rifinito in 'verde pino' con interni in 'tobacco'.
