Lot 134: Renault Clio Williams 3

Classic Car Sale, Charterhouse (22 April 2012)

blue. The homologated Limited Edition Renault Clio Williams was announced in 1992 to commemorate the Williams-Renault F1 constructors title. Initially 3,800 were built all having a commemorative Limited Edition plaque fixed to the dashboard, they proved so popular that a further 1600 were made before the Williams 2 and final Williams 3 versions appeared. This Williams 3 pocket rocket has always had caring ownership, which is not always the case with these hot hatches. Originally supplied by Ash Renault of Yeovil to its first registered keeper, it has subsequently resided in the Somerset area with its other five registered keepers. The current lady owner of the past seven years has had the Clio maintained by Slades Garage Ltd of Chard (numerous receipts on file). There is also a good past history with old MOTs and bills for regular upkeep. The car is to original specification with the usual Renault blue bodywork, Speedline gold anodised aluminium wheels, 2 litre 16 valve engine, five speed gearbox, electric sunroof and windows, sports suspension, sports exhaust manifold and other sporting goodies. A good clean example which has been properly fettled by its previous owners, she now awaits a new owner to maintain her to the same standard. V5C, MOT to August 2012, tax to April 2012 See
