Lot 151: Plymouth U320

Classic Car Sale, Charterhouse (22 April 2012)

U320 was introduced in 1928 and was sold through Chrysler dealerships. At the launch, the four door standard sedan was priced at $725, slightly higher than the Ford and Chevrolet competition, but offered a higher specification including hydraulic brakes. This beautifully restored example was first registered in England on 2nd January 1996. Attractively finished in blue over black coachwork with a black cloth interior, it sits on hickory spoked wheels with white wall tyres. The current American car enthusiast owner has attended numerous classic car events and shows where it has always been admired and it has even been pressed into service to carry blushing brides to the church. During the current ownership all this activity has been carried out with total reliability. V5C, MOT to July 2012, tax to May 2012
