Lot : Porsche 911 Turbo
Special order 'Smoky Quartz' paintwork - Full photographic restoration recently completed - Only 40,000 miles from new - Ultra rare Gotti Alloy Wheels H&H are indebted to the vendor for the following description: "You have a unique and rare opportunity to purchase a genuine and very sought after 1984 Porsche 911 (930) 3.3 Turbo in factory special order metallic 'Smoky Quartz' with contrasting Champagne and Bordeaux full leather interior and with only 40,000 miles on the clock! The car has just completed a full photographic restoration at our Surrey workshop, and is an absolute stunning example in mint show car condition throughout. Registered in the UK on 6 April 1984 and with a private registration plate, this is an extremely desirable car with a 4 speed manual gearbox. All the original body mouldings, and spoilers are in place and all are in as new condition. The car has a set of ultra rare Gotti alloy wheels, 225/50/15 (15"x7") at the front and massive 345/35/15 (15"x12") at the rear which are in unmarked condition with new quality tyres all round. The car is in superb condition and as far as I know has been free from any accident damage repairs (the car is totally clear on the HPI register). The mileage of 40,000 is correct and confirmed via the National Mileage Register, and comes with some history and an extensive photographic restoration portfolio. The engine is smooth, very powerful and sounds fantastic with no nasty knocks, rattles, or oil leaks. The exterior bodywork and underneath of the car are totally rust free, having undergone 9 months of comprehensive restoration and detailing. It's certainly not the usual rusty and rotten 27-year-old 930 you usually find. The interior is trimmed in the finest nappa leather, a factory special order 'champagne' and detailed with a Bordeaux piping and deep pile carpets. The main dash panel, front and rear door capping and rear shelf are trimmed in black alcantarar suede all of which are in perfect unmarked condition throughout. The vehicle has the usual flagship model features of its era including, air conditioning, remote central locking, electric front windows, electric sunroof, electric mirrors, and a premium Alpine Stereo/CD system. The car benefits from the having the bullet proof 3300cc engine with Bosch Motronic injection system, developing a healthy 300bhp, 4-speed manual gearbox and limited-slip differential. The car has recently had a completely rebuild gearbox and over £7000 spent on it at a Porsche main dealer which includes a rebuilt turbo charger and much more. There is a new battery, tyres, plus the car is fully serviced including all fluids. The vehicle has spent many years in storage prior to our extensive restoration work. The documentation has many MOT certificates to verify the mileage, plus a full HPI report and confirmation from the National Mileage Register. I have the full V5 registration document and the car comes with a new MOT. The log book indicates only 4 previous keepers, the last being a lady owner who has owned it the past 16 years! There are no known faults with the car. This car has been professionally restored to an exceptionally high standard throughout and must not be compared with smaller budget restorations. These are very rare and sought after cars and are commanding extremely high prices in the current marketplace and represent exceptional value for money whilst becoming rewarding investments. This has got to be one of the best 930 turbo's in the country and a definite show winner!"
