Lot 1010: Suzuki GT750J

Cambridge Vintage Sale, Cheffins (28 July 2012)

From the first year of production and coinciding with the 40th Anniversary, this is a rare and very fine example of the ground breaking water cooled 2 stroke triple finished in Candy Lavender. In the same ownership since 1975 and just the second owner, the Kettle was used for the daily Lincoln - Grantham commute between 1975 and 1977, afterwards it became the weekend ride until being tucked away in September 1986. Re-licensed in March 2007 and used for shows rallies and fun since, this very fine example with the distinctive TLS front brake has at some point been repainted but appears otherwise original with a genuine 25,115 miles. Supplied with the original grab handle and brackets, spare radiators, mirror and a fairing, also present is the owners manual, service guide, Haynes manual old MOTs and invoices and current V5C documentation. The last MOT expired in March and the duty free road tax is valid until February 2013. The sad passing of the owner provides the opportunity to buy a very rare machine which is even rarer in this fine condition with known history and low mileage.
