North British Manufacturing Co., Dumfries
D. McKay Drummond of the Dumfries Ironworks built a car for his own use in reliability trials, powered by a 20/24hp 4-cylinder engine. Encouraged by its success, he formed a company to make cars for sale. These were available with 14/16 and 20/24hp 4-cylinder engines, shaft drive and 2-or 4-seater bodies.
